Abstract
The Buffalo State College, Rochester Institute of Technology and University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown are looking for changes to their courses in electric power system to make them more relevant to power system industries. The three sets of courses in power systems include electric machines, power systems, and power electronics. The program goals, program educational objectives, and suggestions from Industrial Advisory Boards are viewed as intellectual input to continuous improvement program (CIP). The possibility of an advanced curriculum based on interrelations between topics of different disciplines within Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) program, and between EET and other programs, in different institutions is also elaborated.
