Image matching assisted phase-sensitive optical time domain reflectometry

Abstract

Image matching algorithms are proposed to improve the temporal resolution of dual-frequency phase-sensitive OTDR. Experimental results show that the temporal resolution is improved by six times compared with 1D cross-covariation under the same precision.
