Abstract
A class of kicked rotors, exhibiting global superdiffusion and accelerator-mode islands (AI) for weak chaos is discussed. It is found that the corresponding standard map are exactly related to generalized web maps taken modulo an oblique cylinder. Results show that chaotic orbits sticking around the AI boundary are accelerated only when they traverse tiny acceleration spots. It leads to chaotic flights which have a quasiregular steplike structure.
