N2 - The article continues in analysing post-Maimonidean approaches to Joshua's miracle as a mirror to medieval treatment with the issue of miracles. Besides radical approaches, moderate and conservative approaches are also discussed. Rationalists claimed that the whole event happened in the consciousness of the Israeli people, while others maintained that Joshua used certain kinds of technics to darken the sky. In contrast the traditionalists claimed that there had been a real doubled or trippled miracles. The issue of miracles reflects therefore the medieval Jewish spirit at its extremities and peaks.
