Abstract

The present paper discuss an element placement strategy based on genetic algorithm (GA) technique to synthesize an isophoric uniformly placed element array with low sidelobe level (SLL). A zoning method is used in conjunction with GA for accelerating the convergence process. The effectiveness of the optimization methodology is highlighted with the aid of few studies in the paper.
