Abstract
A theory for describing nonclassical dynamics of reactions occurring in disordered media was presented based on the fractional diffusion equation. An expression for the Green's function was derived which was required to calculate the survival probabilities of reactants. A novel kinetic phase transition dependent on temperature was found. The theory explained the observed features of ligand-protein recombination reactions in a unified manner for a wide range of temperature and time scales.
