Flatland optics

Abstract

Flatland optics is a new outlook in wave optics. It is not integrated optics nor planar optics. The light propagated, or diffracts, or interferes, in the flat (x,z) domain. The y-direction is used for manipulation, for example for radical spectrum shaping.
