Abstract

This chapter is divided into two parts. In the first part, I present the theory I developed in my book Conservative and Radical Perspectives on Psychoanalytic Knowledge: The Fascinated and the Disenchanted (2015), which outlines two types of psychoanalytic communities: fascinated communities and troubled communities.
