Abstract
(La1-x Gdx)2/3Sr1/3MnO 3 manganite perovskite nanorods were synthesized by sonication-assisted coprecipitation. Lower sintering temperatures were required for all the samples to crystallize. The fully crystallize samples of (La 0.5Gd0.5)2/3Sr1/3MnO3 and (La0.4Gd0.6)2/3Sr1/3MnO3 show the formation of nanorods upon their synthesis with an average length and width of 160 nm and 20 nm, respectively. The structural, electrical, and magnetic transport properties were investigated.
