Abstract

The ESR spectrum of Ru3+ in single crystals of MgO was measured at 3 cm wavelength and 54°, 20° and 12°K. The spectrum can be described by a cubic spin Hamiltonian with g = 1.8294 ± 0.0006, 10 1A = (49.8 ± 0.5) × 10-4 cm-1 and 99A = (44.7 ± 0.5) × 10-4 cm-1.
