Abstract
A harmonic oscillator subject to two periodic fields with two incommensurate frequencies is characterized by a broadband spectrum of the correlation function, which is typical for deterministic chaos. This”erratic” behaviour, like deterministic chaos, shows the close connection between determinism and chaos.
