Electrochemical parameters of intercalation of graphite electrodes

Abstract

Reverse electrochemical intrusion of HSO4- ions into graphite matrix was studied by the method of cyclic voltammetry. Parameters of graphite intercalation process in sulfuric acid solutions at different temperatures, scan rates of potential and concentration were determined. Influence of time of electrodes contact with solution on their electric potential and preliminary intercalation of electrodes, as well as their nature on parameters of intercalation and deintercalation processes were investigated.
