Abstract
The temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity of Li at high temperatures is calculated. both at constant volume and at constant pressure. The calculation includes the effects of the non-sphericity of the Fermi surface, multiple plane wave pseudowavefunctions, the anisotropy of the electron-phonon scattering relaxationtime and the anharmonic effects. Good agreement with experiment is obtained. The resistivity of the 6Li isotope is also calculated and here too good agreement is found with the experimental data.
