Abstract

Elastic magnetic electron scattering from 15N and 209Bi is calculated in a relativistic model. The form factors are close to non-relativistic results if vacuum polarization contributions from the change in effective mass are included. However, if vacuum polarization is omitted the form factors are unrealistically enhanced.
