Abstract

This chapter, based on research conducted at Bar-Ilan University (Ofer-Yarom, 2014), presents an innovative model in which educational staff (educators and assistants) were integrated into a group-class therapy process through the arts. Based on the findings, the model combines different therapeutic emotional, cognitive, rehabilitative, behavioral approaches. The chapter describes the preparation required for the group process, the structure of the model, the main contents arising in this kind of group, and the processes accompanying it
