Abstract
The time-evolution of dynamic multiply scattered speckle patterns from randomly diffusing spheres has been recorded on a microsecond time-scale. The multiple-scattering speckle correlation time is found to be 40 μs, 25 times shorter than the average single-scattering correlation time. This result appears to be universal.
