Abstract

The boundary of stability in a many-component reactive mixture can be found by two different methods in which the law of mass action is used before and after the minimization procedure. Identical results have been obtained for the model of strictly regular solutions. The generality of this result may be explained by the absence of fluctuations in the law of mass action in non-equilibrium states.
