Abstract
Parental stocks of T. aurea, morphologically apparent males, used for production of all-male broods, were tested by electrophoresis in polyacrylamide gel. The male sex marker 'A' was not present in some of them. These were identified as hermaphrodites following sacrifice and dissection.
