Abstract
The fundamentals for the design of multiplexed SC filters, and several multiplexing techniques that reduce the number of components (amplifiers and capacitors) in switched-capacitor networks, are presented. The proposed methods require only unity-gain amplifiers to implement the resulting active SC filters. The presented multiplexing procedures can be combined and extended for single unity-gain amplifier realization of higher-order SC filters. Practical limits inherent in this design technique are also discussed.
