Abstract

The trunk wood of Ocotea cymbarum from the Amazon basin contains α-phellandrene, α-pinene, eugenol, dehydrodieugenol and its monomethyl ether, as well as the previously unknown dehydrodieugenol-B (4,5′-diallyl-2′-hydroxy-2,3′-dimethoxydiphenyl ether).
