Abstract
Correlated each of the 4 factors of the Gordon Test of Visual Imagery Control, together with the total score, with the variable of Absorption and frequency of Dream Recall, and with the frequency of incidence of a number of subjective experiences. Results from 72 Ss (aged 20–47 yrs) indicate that Movement correlates with Absorption, while Color correlates with Dream Recall. The total score, in contrast, was not correlated with either of the latter. It is suggested that researchers turn to other scales for imagery assessment.
