Abstract
Relaxational dynamics of the supercooled normal domain with magnetic flux inside in a type-II superconductor is considered. It is shown numerically that the restoration of superconductivity is accompanied by explosive nucleation of topological vortices and antivortices. On a longer time scale some of them can survive being trapped by the pinning centers. Such a phase consisting of Abrikosov vortices and antivortices can live for a macroscopically long time. A week external magnetic field causes the antivortices to leave the sample, thus increasing the magnetic flux inside.
