Correlations in invariant ensembles of random matrices

Abstract

Eigenvalue correlations in primordially invariant ensembles of random matrices and in ensembles with spontaneously broken symmetry are studied. Universal relationships among different correlation characteristics are established for very wide class of invariant ensembles. The density of levels, two-point kernel, locally rescaled two-level cluster function and smoothed connected correlations between the density of eigenvalues are calculated for primordially invariant α-Ensemble. Universal description of eigenvalue statistics for ensembles with spontaneously broker: symmetry is suggested. PACS number(s): 05.45 + b, 05.40. + j.
