Finally, in ‘A general approach to aggregation problems’, Daniëls and Pacuit also look at the problem of judgement aggregation. The main idea is to introduce a framework in which properties of an aggregation procedure and those of a coalition of agents wanting to push through a certain outcome (here a proposition) can be investigated. They also show that in the generalized setting an impossibility result similar to Arrow’s still holds. This workshop was funded by EPSRC under grant EP/E034446/1.
