Abstract

This paper reports the results of Faraday rotation and optical absorption measurements for the oxide glasses containing Pr2O3 in different concentrations in the spectral region from 230 to 320 nm. These glasses are shown to be promising magnetooptical material for the short wavelength spectral region.
