Abstract

In the areas of healthcare, food safety, and environmental monitoring, the development of cutting-edge technologies and methods for the sensitive detection of biological reactions remains a top goal. The purpose of this review is to examine the development of bioassays that make use of both quantum dots and magnetic beads at the same time. Because of the exceptional qualities of both particles for use in biosensing applications as well as the extensive body of work that has been published employing a combined strategy. As a result, the purpose of this study is not to present an all-encompassing examination of the uses of QDs that have been widely documented; rather, the emphasis will be placed on the most recent emergent advances, concepts, and ongoing unsolved difficult and often controversial topics.
