Abstract

We consider the broadcasting of a memoryless bivariate Gaussian source over a two-user Gaussian broadcast channel where in addition to the source broadcasting a message is conveyed reliably to the 'higher quality' receiver. Receiver 1 reconstructs the first source component while Receiver 2 reconstructs the second source component. Given the message rate, we characterize the set of attainable mean squared-error distortion pairs at the two receivers.
