Abstract

One can similarly assert that books that are not easy to read will have no important impact. This, however, should not be the case of The Oxford Handbook of Economic Inequality that has been recently published by Oxford University Press. Its editors, Wiemer Salverda, Brian Nolan and Timothy M. Smeeding, have provided us with a 700-page volume that includes 27 chapters, all devoted to a specific aspect of economic inequality. This book should be of interest to a vast audience.
