Arrested by minuth: The jewish-christians as represented in talmudic aggadah

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

This article deals with fundamental text relative to the Sages of the Talmud and to the minim. It is suggested to interpret this text not only as an approach of exclusion from the dissident but especially an initiative of auto-construction. This auto-construction is the one Sages who exclude the other one to define itself better themselves. It is suggested to read this text as search for identity and for authority of the Sages after 70. We also study the late representations of the Christianity in the Talmud and the perceptions of the Sages towards the Jewish Christians.
