Abstract
The trunk-wood of Ocotea caesia contains the aporphine alkaloids (-)-zenkerine, (+)-laurelliptine, (-)-pulchine and (+)-isoboldine and the novel alkaloid (S)-(+)-1-hydroxy-2,9-dimethoxynoraporphine.
