Abstract
This contribution examines the functioning of argumentative analogies in multimodal media such as comics and graphic novels, and more particularly in graphic novels dealing with the Holocaust, in order to answer the questions of (a) what is the reason for the argumentative weight of these analogies and how they participate in the construction of an argument, and (b) what characterizes the analogical procedures constructed in “sequential art”.
