Abstract

A integrated analysis methodology(IAM) based on incidence matrix is presented in the paper, aiming at the independent and imbalance between maintainability analysis (MA) and maintenance task analysis (MTA) in practical projects. This paper presents correlativity between support resources and maintenance task, support resources and maintainability factors, maintainability and maintenance task to achieve the process oriented integrated analysis based on incidence matrix, which can expose design defects effectively. Besides, the methodology puts forwards the compositive measures for design improvement through screening key problems and common problems from analysis results. A simple case study is used to demonstrate how the methodology is more effective than usual.
