Abstract

In wireless communication system, orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) can be used with multiple antennas to achieve both frequency diversity and space diversity. Many methods have been proposed to decide the weight set for beamformer. In this paper, we proposed an improved method to derive the weight set by exploiting the virtual sub-carriers effectively. Computer simulation results show its good performance compared to the method based on the pilot sub-carriers only.
