Abstract

Applications of stimulated Brillouin scattering in high-resolution spectral analysis, generation of low-noise millimeter and THz-carriers, generation of broadband high-quality sinc-shaped pulses and realization of microwave photonics band-pass filters, are proposed and demonstrated experimentally.
