Abstract
The activation energies and the preexponential factors in the expression for the forward current at the CdS-electrolyte junction were determined as a function of the applied bias. It is suggested that the observed dependence of the preexponential factor on the activation energy can be explained by changes in tunneling probability due to variations in the activation energy.
