Abstract

With the development of product sophistication and integration, problem about the high frequency, relevance and randomness of product failures becomes more and more severer. As a comprehensive management technique centered on individual health, PHM(Prognostic and Health Management) is playing an increasing important role in product and system management. In PHM, the correct assessment of product health state is the precondition of health management. However there is no uniform concept and systematic measure method of product health. In this paper the concept of product health is proposed using the concept of health in medical science for reference. Then the product health measure method based on function integrity and time continuity is put forward centered on product health. In the end a case study is used to prove the method effective and feasible.
