Abstract

In this paper, a novel method for maintenance time prediction is proposed based on maintenance process simulation and analysis in virtual maintenance environment .According to maintenance work procedure of giving maintenance task, corresponding maintenance process simulation is produced on the virtual maintenance platform, and for each step of the whole maintenance simulation process, a detailed analysis for maintenance time comparison and calculation is carried out based on the activities of virtual human hands, after that, the analysis data is processed to obtain the predicted time.
