Abstract
The introduction to astrology entitled Re'šit Hcombining dot belowokcombining macron belowmah (Beginning of Wisdom), extant in more than 50 manuscripts, is considered to be the pinnacle of the astrological works of Abraham Ibn Ezra. But the distinct possibility that Ibn Ezra wrote a second introduction to astrology under the same name is suggested by a comparison of the two redactions of Sefer ha-Tcombining dot belowe'amim (Book of reasons) and by a study of their relationship to Re'šit Hcombining dot belowokcombining macron belowmah as we have it today. The grounds for predicating the existence of Re'šit Hcombining dot belowokcombining macron belowmah II are presented, along with a fragment of this hitherto unknown work.
