N2 - Two band-stop, or notch, filters, optimized for maximum dynamic range and low noise, which may be used in high-speed wire-bound data transmission systems for channel attenuation, are compared. Design equations for the two filters are given, and the method used for optimizing the dynamic range and low noise is described. PSpice analysis is carried out, and a comparison of noise, referred as the input, is given. The dynamic range is optimized so as to have the same signal level at each amplifier output.
