Abstract
בפתח המאמר עוסק המחבר בהגדרה ובתיחום של סוגיית בדיקות טרום-נישואין , כפיית בדיקות והקשר בין אלו לשימור התא המשפחתי וקידום האינטרסים של המדינה. לאחר מכן, סוקר המחבר את האינטרסים המעורבים במבט היסטורי-השוואתי כדי לחלץ ולהציג את מגוון האינטרסים והרציונלים לבדיקות. לאחר מכן הוא מציג את הנסיונות לרגולציה ומדיקליזציה של אלימות במסגרת התא המשפחתי ואת הקשר בין סוגיה זו לבדיקות טרום-נישואין.
