Abstract
In this article I will try to briefly review the phonetic phenomenon called the Canaanite copy. It existed in other languages: Tadmorite, Western Aramaic, etc. I will mainly focus on describing this phenomenon in classical Arabic and pre-Islamic Arabic dialects, whose names are mainly determined by their geographical location or by the names of their tribes. I will also refer to the phenomenon in contemporary Arabic dialects and the successors of the pre-Islamic dialects. (from the article)
