Abstract
המחברות דנות במאמר באפלייה הכפולה שממנה סובלות נשים עם מוגבלות בנגישות לשירותי בריאות. בהתבסס על תיאוריות ביקורתיות במגדר ולימודי מוגבלות, הן מבקרות את העיוורון של המערכת הרפואית לצורכיהן הייחודיים של נשים בכלל, ושל נשים עם מוגבלות בפרט, עד כדי פגיעה ביכולתן להיבדק, לשמור על בריאותן ולזכות לטיפול ראוי, מכבד ומונגש. הן מדגישות כי חוסר הנגישות פוגע לא רק באיכות החיים, אלא הוא גם מעלה את שיעורי התחלואה והתמותה בקרב אוכלוסייה זו.
