ב-14 במאי התכנסה ביד ושם קבוצת חוקרים בכירים, מומחים ורב למפגש מיוחד בנושא הטיפול בשרידי גופות של יהודים ולא יהודים שהנאצים עשו בהם ניסויים רפואיים.
