Abstract
העשור הרביעי התאפיין בהתדרדרות פוליטית של המפד"ל בתחילת היסדקות החזון של ארץ ישראל השלמה, בירידת מעמדו של הציבור הדתי הלאומי בחברה הישראלית, בתהליכי הקצנה דתית בחברה ובחינוך ובמקביל גם בתהליכי התהוות של יצירה תורנית ענפה. וזעיר שם וזעיר שם החלו להתבלט מגמות של פתיחות. התודעה הציונית התקשתה לעכל את השינוי החדש בין העשור השלישי לרביעי. ועדיין נכונו לה אתגרים שלא עמדה בפניהם קודם לכן.
