Abstract

This article offers a comprehensive review of intergenerational interaction within organizations, underpinned by insights gleaned from a unique learning event hostedat Netafim headquarters . The crux of the discussion revolved around the intersection of psychological safety and multi generational organizations . The event, attended by individuals from various sectors of the Israeli economy and multiple disciplines, soughtto cultivate an understanding of how to foster a psychologically safe and inclusive workplace environment that enables employees of all generations to express their authentic selves, free from fear of judgment or organizational repercussions, grounded in the belief that multi generationalism bolsters team resilience and productivity . Like thelearning day, this article bridges the gap between theories about generational disparities and their practical applications as formulated by Netafim and other organizations .Additionally, it encapsulates field insights shared during two panels featuring managers of diverse ages and high - ranking HR managers from other companies who examined their experiences and strategies in addressing the complexities of multigenerational organizations .The article's structure comprises a discussion on the significance of psychological safety in a multigenerational organization, the depiction of an inter generational gathering within an organizational common space, and the outlining of the generational attributes .It also includes a portrayal of the organizational knowledge accumulated by Netafim and other companies on this topic . The objective is to develop a hands - on toolbox to advance psychological safety within a multigenerational context in a holistic way .
