Abstract
המאמר עוסק בחיבור הקבלי 'סוד שבת הגדול' לר' משה די ליאון, שמגולל בתוכו שילוב מעניין בין יכולת השתנות וגמישות מרשימה לצד שמירה הדוקה על אופן הופעתו בספרות הקבלית לראשונה. המאמר מתחקה אחת הדינמיקות השונות שעבר 'סוד שבת הגדול' במהלך המאה הי"ג ועד המאה הט"ז, במשנתם של משה די-ליאון, ר' מנחם רקנאטי ור' מנחם ציוני וכן בקבלה הנוצרית (תוך התמקדות בג'ובאני פיקו דה-לה מירנדולה ופרנצ'סקו צורצי).
