Abstract
המאמר מסכם את הידע בחקר התרבות הפלשתית ודן בחידושים על רקע הממצאים מ-25 שנות חפירה בתל צפית/גת. התל הענק שבגבול השפלה והחוף מורכב מעיר עליונה ועיר תחתית. במערכת שכבות היישוב של התל בולטת וחשובה השכבה בת התרבות הפלשתית של תקופת הברזל. (מתוך המאמר)
