Abstract
In February 2020, the outbreak of the global coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) in Israel resulted in a significant health crisis, challenging the adaptive ability of both caregivers and patients exposed to this shared threat. The aim of the article is to describe an unexpected transition of an empowerment-oriented therapy group from a physical face-to-face setting to a telephone conference call format, following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
