לאזור ההר בארץ ישראל, יהודה, שומרון והגליל, כמעט ולא חדרה ההתיישבות הציונית החקלאית, מאז החלה בתהליך ההתיישבות בשלהי המאה ה- 19 ועד להקמת מדינת ישראל בשנת 1948. המאמר מנסה להבין מדוע.
