Abstract
אחד התחומים שמשקף באופן בולט את אופיים של התרגומים הארמיים למקרא הוא החריגות מהתרגום המילולי כשהפסוק המקראי עוסק בה'. מאמר זה מבקש להצביע על תפקידו התחבירי של שם ה' כמשקף את השינויים שהכניס התרגום בפסוק, ועל הנסיבות התחביריות שבהן התרגום יהיה מילולי - ללא שינוי או הוספה. המאמר מתמקד בתרגום יונתן לנביאים.
